Consulting and coaching both assess issues and help you solve problems. A consultant acts as the expert and recommends the best solution based on their assessment. A coach treats you as the expert and acts as a guide to help you craft the best solution based on your own thoughts, beliefs, and values. With coaching, you walk away with not only a plan of action, but also a deeper understanding of yourself.
Coaching can help individuals improve their self-awareness, develop new skills, create a plan for achieving their goals, and overcome obstacles that may be holding them back from success. A coach is a trained thought partner and sounding board who can help you reach your goals faster. Coaching is tailored to your thoughts, beliefs, and values to help you determine what to do differently to get better results.
After personally experiencing the impact of coaching on my life, I chose to transition from the law to coaching full-time. For over a decade as an attorney, I honed skills that are invaluable to my coaching practice: keen observation skills; listening without judgement; uncovering patterns, commonalities, and disconnects in complex narratives; and helping clients craft solutions through questions that encourage critical thinking and reflection. I truly believe in the power of coaching. I am passionate about helping clients connect to their inner truth and live life confidently on their own terms. I am an ICF-certified coach and am committed to continued personal and professional growth, learning, and development.
Sessions can vary in length, but typically last between 30 minutes to an hour. The frequency of sessions can also vary depending on the needs of the client.
Coaching is an investment in your individual development through a highly customized and personalized process. Providing an exact price without knowing your exact need is difficult. However, pricing depends on a few variables: what you want to accomplish, where you are now relative to your goal(s), and the time and effort it will take to bridge the gap.
